Opportunity:
Director of Nursing in New York
Management Resource Solutions Inc. (MRSI) is currently searching a Director of Nursing (RN) for a non-profit long term care facility in New York. This position is open due to the last DON going out on retirement after several years with the community. This is a very excellent and unique opportunity with the way the industry is now. If the DON ever works over-time in the pay-period (more than 80 hours), the extra hours worked will accumulate and turn into PTO hours.
The ideal candidate and attributes we are seeking:
Director of Nursing (RN)
- Long Term Care experience, 5+ preferred
- Director level management experience, 3+ years preferred
- Leadership and coaching abilities
- Point Click Care experience is preferred
The facility is 4-star CMS rated but has 5-star staffing measures. They over-staff the nursing department and CNAs purposefully to reduce stressful shortages among the team. Also, in an effort to retain and maintain staff they offer CNA classes to those interested in learning and growing with the organization –> Earn while you learn program!
